Otsuka Europe

Ole Vahlgren appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Europe Ltd. I am delighted to announce the appointment of Ole Vahlgren as President and Chief Executive Officer of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Europe Ltd. (OPEL) Vahlgren joins Otsuka from H. Lundbeck A/S, where he spent 18 years and held a number of executive leadership roles, most recently serving as Global head and Senior Vice President, corporate business Development & Strategy.  In his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of OPEL, he will oversee all aspects of OPEL's business in Europe.  His appointment will become effective on 14th February 2012 and he will operate out of our European offices, based in London. He brings to Otsuka Europe the right blend of skills and knowledge from his experience in the Global business and I am confident that under his leadership, Otsuka Pharmaceutical Europe will continue to achieve our corporate mission – Otsuka–people creating new products for better health worldwide.
