Otsuka Pharmaceutical Europe Ltd. is pleased to have a LinkedIn page for the purpose of recruitment and to share corporate and disease awareness information. We are excited to give you an insight into what working at Otsuka is like, however, we would like to remind you that healthcare is a regulated industry and, as such, we cannot engage in discussions about our medicines / products - or the products of other companies. With this in mind, we will not engage in conversation that:

• Mentions products / medicinal products;
• Include profanity, defamatory, or abusive comments;
• Disparage, threaten, condone violence or other illegal behaviour;
• Are off-topic;
• Contains any personal data, especially special categories of personal data (e.g., health data related to an individual);
• Violates another’s copyright or intellectual property;
• Contains spam or solicits business;
• Contains proprietary, confidential, sensitive, or non-public information; or
• Violates LinkedIn’s User Agreement.

Reporting Side Effects If you believe you have experienced any side effects/adverse events from an Otsuka product, you should consult your physician, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional immediately. If you wish to report an adverse event you can email us at: vigilance@otsuka-europe.com or call us at +44(0)203 747 5000. We recommend that contact via LinkedIn is not used for this purpose, but if an adverse event or product issue is raised through our LinkedIn Page, we will need to process personal data about you, such as your name, location, and health-related information. This is in accordance with our legal obligations for the safety of our medicines. Privacy Otsuka is the data controller of your personal data, which may be processed through LinkedIn. In certain circumstances we may be a Joint Controller with LinkedIn. This will be covered by the Page Insights Joint Controller Addendum. Our legal basis for the processing of personal data through LinkedIn is our legitimate interests, namely for the purposes of recruitment. LinkedIn is a professional network and, as such, you should be aware that any content you disclose, or share may be available to the public.  Please note that we may use third-party service providers to help us manage our LinkedIn page. These third-party service providers may also have access to your personal data but are contractually bound to ensure confidentiality. Please note that LinkedIn also has access to information you share with us through their platform.
